All That Was is the fifth song of the first disc of The Source . It is the second song of Chronicle 2: The Alignment of the Ten, and the fifth song of the album. The length is 3:36. It is preceded by Star of Sirrah and followed by Run! Apocalypse! Run! .

Plot

The Biologist and The Counselor have a hard time letting go of their lives. They reminisce on their lives, and indirectly address their respective lovers. They reflect on the past, and are filled with regret due to the knowledge that they will not be around when their loved ones die.

Letting go is painful, but they know they need to be strong to ensure the future of mankind. Of course, this is specifically the Counselor’s role, to ensure everyone is coping with the events.
